Argentina-Holland
This was definitely one of THE matches I looked fwd to... And it ended up being a goalless draw. Argentina played well, had some good chances..... The best one was when an attempted clearance by a Dutch defender bounced off the woodwork...
Anyhow, spent the night watching the game in the company of dormmates, mostly tuchchas... Listening to them discuss some events in the day, some anecdotes from prof's classes, telling me about the profs I'm going to have in the year. Time well spent, coz I dont think I'll have a chance to that again in the immediately foreseeable future :)
Will go get a hutch connection today, and get back to the connected world....

Slept off n' couldn't catch that match. :( Good to know you're there n' settled. Wonder if you did meet any of my college fellers? Excellent blogging btw, buddy. Did you take your tennis racket along? How's the court? Play something once in a while. Room next to TV can be a pain. I'd prefer one closer to the bathroom, esply in a hot place! More baths! :) You could try emptying a bottle of water on your mattress before you nap (in the nude)- was my strategy to prevent fitful sleep in trichy :o

Kuts, didnt meet any rect ppl as yet. Not too far from the bathroom either.
Tennis court is concrete. A friend of mine played, and said it was decent. Ppl here play tennis at 3 Am, etc.
But given the fact its inhumanly hot till 6 atleast, i guess in summer its prolly the only option.
Got the same water-on-bed advice from Narayanan ( mentioned in earlier post - he's a fewllor blorean fachcha ), who tried similar stuff at IITM.

yeah i've played baddy @ IIMB at 2 am. looks like thats the only time mgmt studs get to play n' yes as u said the temp is better that time too! :) concrete courts better than clay. legs will pain sooner but at least the bounce is predictable!!
